Entertainment

The Organisers are keen to ensure that there will never be a dull moment outside the business hours -- be it delegate or accompanying person!! After the Technical programmes the following entertaining activities will be featured:

  • Please note that persons accompanying the registered delegate have to pay an additional amount for Entertainment Programme as per the packages mentioned in Accompanying Persons Registration Form.
  • Apart from the above, every day after the formal programme is over there will be experiential entertainment programmes covering a wide variety of (typically Indian) enjoyable sessions, such as Mehendi (the Indian art of decorating palms with colourful designs}, Rangoli/ Kolam (the Indian art of floor decorations), Indian astrological readings, Chaat (Indian "starters/hors d'oeuvres" ) tasting, Pottery making, handwriting analysis, portrait painting, etc. Some of these will have tariff applicable for use.
  • Recreation facilities with a DJ will be made available in the late evening.

Indoor Entertainment Programme - Wednesday, 18th July evening

The Programme will feature an approximately 90 minutes long collection of traditional Indian dances accompanied by traditional music by a renowned Indian ballet troupe, Sridevi Nrithyalaya (sridevinrithyalaya.com). The themes of the dances will also be explained in English. The rhythmic dances will be colourful, performed by artistes in beautiful and striking traditional Indian dance costumes.

Conference Reception & Dinner and Outdoor Entertainment – Thursday, 19th July evening

The beautiful beach area in the Resort will be transformed on 19th July evening into an arena for a pulsating performance of folk arts of Tamil Nadu, the State surrounding Chennai. The guests will be treated to different types of rhythmic folk dances and scintillating music on traditional folk musical instruments for about 90 minutes, promising wonderful fun. They will also experience the typical Tamil Nadu village. Some of the guests will also be invited to join the performances!
There will also be an English language commentary on the various performances.
This programme will be followed by a Reception to relax on the Beach and then by a Dinner to titillate the palate under the moonlight in the exotic tropics!
